Welcome to The Wernher Restaurant
For exquisite fine dining there can be few more spectacular settings than the Wernher Restaurant. Named after Luton Hoo’s most renowned and glamorous former owners, Sir Julius Wernher, The Wernher Restaurant is located in the original State Dining Room and also encompasses the Grinling Gibbons room at Luton Hoo Hotel.
Executive Head Chef, Kevin Clark, mirrors this grand and opulent setting in his menu, revealing culinary flair through the combination of adventurous dishes and traditional British classics.
"Luton Hoo’s Wernher restaurant was awarded two AA Rosettes, within a very short time of being open and, with the help of my team, we are building on that enviable achievement."
"Our aim is to use the best of British produce to create dishes with a modern twist and it is our intention to source local produce and build a relationship with local suppliers to provide food which has farm-to-table traceability." Kevin Clark, Executive Head Chef.
The Wernher Restaurant, proud owner of 2 AA rosettes, now offers a three course extended Sunday lunch from 1pm to 9pm.
